After reading this article about Tesla (TSLA) and some of the comments in the comment section, I was very disappointed. Taking joy in other peoples struggles or misfortunes is nothing new in our society, especially when it comes to billionaires, famous people, and people trying to create change. I guess call me an optimist, but when I was reading this article I was truly amazed by the fact that the company and their management team was doing everything they could to meet a goal — not that they were failing, did something wrong, or that they overpromised. None of that matters. What we should be celebrating is a company that is revolutionizing and succeeding in a business that is stuck in the past. Thinking outside the box is what makes this country great. It is how things change. And sometimes, using unconventional or old school methods to hit goals, is just what the doctor ordered. It doesn’t mean defeat, it says we are trying to succeed and will do anything it takes. And that is the difference between successful people/businesses and everybody else. They do what other people/businesses are unwilling to do — whatever the outside world thinks. Let’s be inspired and cheer for these people.
